How we perform repairs

While Prusa printers are generally reliable, sometimes you may need some help getting it back into working condition. Maybe it's a lack of parts, or you just don't have time to do everything on your own. We are here to help, and are able to rent a loaner unit while your machine is in for servicing/repairs.

We schedule a pickup of the printer, clean it up, and perform a visual check. We go through a checklist tailored to your specific model, there are at least 20 basic checks we perform. Advanced printers like the Original Prusa XL and Prusa Pro HT90 have a lot more.

Upon completion of the checklist, we prepare a detailed report of what was observed, as well as recommendations and estimate. This report can be viewed online or be exported as a PDF for record-keeping/approval.

Each image is timestamped, and watermarked. A detailed analysis of the failure, as well as recommendations, are provided.

We only use new and authentic parts from Prusa or its suppliers. Where plastic parts are damaged, we use Prusament to print the replacements. Parts and workmanship is warranted to be free from defects for 90 calendar days.
